SN COMMERCE LLC RECALLS Reusable Magnetic Water Balloons (standard and glow in the dark edition)

The Reusable Magnetic Water Balloons (standard and glow in the dark edition) were sold by TheKiddoSpace on its website thekiddospacestore.co.uk between 30th May 2024 to 21st February 2025.

This recall involves two versions of TheKiddoSpace Reusable Magnetic Water Balloons. Both versions include sets of soft, colorful, silicone water balloons that use small internal magnets which snap closed automatically when filled. The balloons are approximately the size of a tennis ball (around 7cm diameter) and are designed to be reused for outdoor or water play. The standard edition includes translucent balloons in multiple colours, while the glow-in-the-dark edition contains similar balloons that glow in low-light conditions. Each set was sold with one or multiple black mesh storage bags and a plastic bag. The products were sold in assorted colours including blue, red, orange, green, yellow, and white. All delivered products are affected.

Why are we recalling these products?

It has come to our attention that the small, high powered magnets can be removed from the Reusable Magnetic Water Balloons (standard and glow in the dark edition). If the magnets are removed, and more than one is swallowed, they could attract one another causing intestinal blockage or perforation.

What to do

Stop using the products immediately and dispose of them safely. 

Remedies for consumers

Once disposed of, please contact TheKiddoSpace to be provided with either:

• a full refund of your original purchase, or
• a voucher of equal value to spend in our online store.
